The Beatnik.ins file is a Cakewalk instrument profile that contains the patch names for each bank of the Beatnik synthesizer, bank/patch midi messages, and the Beatnik synthesizer midi implementation. This profile enables Cakewalk product users to select Beatnik synthesizer Banks and Patches by name rather than by number. It also automatically configures the Sequencer to use the appropriate midi messages to issue bank/patch changes.

The following are instructions on how to install, set-up and use the Beatnik.ins for Cakewalk Pro Audio, Cakewalk Express and Cakewalk Metro for Macintosh.
